Reynold Becker (JD '78) now leads government relations for Combined Insurance in Glenview, IL, a subsidiary of ACE Group.

just finished ghostwriting the memoirs for a retired U.S. Senator.

Alice O. Martin, Ph.D. (JD ’89
) was recognized as a 2013 “Super Lawyer” by Illinois Super Lawyers® in Intellectual Property Litigation practice areas.

Norah L. Jones (JD '06) was named to the Rising Stars List by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine.  Jones is an associate in the Tax-Exempt Organizations Group at Quarles & Brady LLP.

Maria T. Cenzon (JD ’96)
has been appointed Judge for the Superior Court of Guam. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Maria worked as chief legal counsel to the Governor of Guam Eddie Baza Calvo. For twelve years before joining government service, she was in private practice, concentrating on commercial transactions, insurance defense, real estate transactions, administrative law and procedures and complex civil litigation. Prior to becoming a judge, Maria served on the Board of Governors of the Guam Bar Association, as President of the Guam Legal Services Corporation and numerous memberships in other civic and non-profit organizations on Guam.

Gia Fonte Colunga (JD ’04) has been elected partner at Freeborn & Peters. Gia focuses her practice on complex disputes, employment litigation, non-competition and trade secret matters, and product liability.  She has extensive trial experience and has handled significant matters for clients in state and federal courts across the country, including large-scale discovery disputes, dispositive motion practice and appeals.

Melissa A. Howitt (JD ’06) has relocated from Chicago to Massachusetts where she is now an associate at Doherty, Ciechanowski, Dugan, and Cannon, P.C.  in Franklin, MA. She is concentrating her practice in probate and domestic relations.

James P. Moorhead (JD ’99) recently formed the Moorhead Law Group, LLC, a Chicago-based law firm with a national practice in commercial real estate, conservation, and sports law. Jamie resides in Chicago with his wife and two children.
