Greetings from Interim Dean Michael Kaufman

I am extremely honored to serve as interim dean of the School of Law.

I have had the pleasure of teaching bright and talented law students at Loyola University Chicago for nearly 30 years. It is my top priority as interim dean of this extraordinary law school to remain focused on our mission to ensure that each student receives an outstanding legal education and feels at home in our diverse, nurturing, and supportive community. As we move ahead together, I promise to work as hard as I possibly can to serve our students and the entire community with conscience, commitment, and compassion.

Thank you for your ongoing kindness and unwavering support. I look forward to working together with all of you to deepen our school’s wonderful traditions, build upon its great strengths, and celebrate exciting new future initiatives with a renewed sense of optimism.
